swappiness parameter controls how often the Linux kernel moves processes out of physical memory and onto the swap disk. Because disks are much slower than RAM, if processes are moved out of memory too aggressively, it can lead to slower response times for system and applications.
For best AppDynamics performance, the recommended value is 1.
