Modern computing systems are composed of numerous interconnected components, such as microservices, databases, containers, and cloud resources. Each of these components generates its own metric, event, log, and trace (MELT) data. From the Observe page, you can see MELT data within the context of a specific domain or entity, or you can navigate to the pages within the Explore menu for quick access to all MELT data across all your domains and entities – outside of any predefined context – providing you with a holistic view of the behavior and performance of the full stack:
On Explore > Events you have a unified view of events across different domains.
On Explore > Logs you have a simple way to search, filter and explore logs from all sources easily, centralized and accessible in a single location, reducing time and effort to navigate to view logs for each entity.
On Explore > Traces you have a unified view of all the traces across all your applications.
