Cisco Cloud Observability provides end-to-end visibility into the performance of the infrastructure running your applications. By using Cisco Cloud Observability to observe the state of your systems, you ensure the reliability of multiple metrics that impact your business. This enables collaboration between IT and business teams to optimize performance and improve the security and stability of transactions that significantly impact your operations. This solution, along with the OpenTelemetry™-instrumented applications, provides full-stack observability and simplifies deployment.

The monitoring solution for Prometheus®:

  • Supports Prometheus exporter solutions to collect, retain, and display metrics that matter to your business.
  • Stores historical metrics from Kafka and Redis® to provide infrastructure context, replacing the need to deploy a separate Prometheus server.

Get Started

  1. Add one or more supported Prometheus exporters to the resources you would like to monitor. See Configure Kafka and Configure Redis.
  2. Once a Prometheus exporter is set up, Cisco Cloud Observability begins pulling metrics associated with the cloud resources and populates the Observe page with entity-centric pages (ECPs). You can now monitor your Kafka Entities and Redis Entities
