Supports up to 75 Java Agents on a single m4.4xlarge node in a containerized environment.

The number of supported Java Agents depends on various factors, and the mentioned limit of 75 is based on the instrumentation of a simple Java application.

install supported agents using the smartagentctlbinary. See Install Supported Agents Using smartagentctl.
install the required supported agents on a remote host. You can also automate the installation on multiple remote Linux or Windows hosts by using remote.yaml file. See Install Supported Agents in Remote Host.
If you do not specify start_as_process in the custom configuration details for Machine Agent installation, Smart agent runs Machine Agent based on the following permissions:
- root user: Machine Agent runs as a service
- non-root user: Machine Agent runs as a process. You cannot run the agent as a service with this permission.

Agent Known Issues

Smart Agent	The application metrics are not displayed and Controller displays the 500 internal server error. This happens because the Windows port is in bound state. To workaround this issue, restart the Smart Agent service.
