Summary

Various performance and scalability issues have been reported for Controller 4.1.x prior to version 4.1.8.9. The issues particularly affect Controllers under high load. 

Affected Software

The performance issues affect various versions of the Controller prior to 4.1.8.9.

Impact

The performance and scalability issues resolved in 4.1.8.9 include the following 

• Addressed gaps in metric data observed at periodic as well as random intervals
• Accelerated UI load time performance on several screens (including Business Transaction Flowmap)
• Improved snapshot search time
• Enhanced several non-functional user interface elements
• Addressed issues related to information points in internal agent not reporting metrics

Resolution

Customer with an on-prem Controller who are experiencing performance issues should upgrade to version 4.1.8.9 or later.
