You can use various logs to troubleshoot any connectivity issues. Logs are instrumental in resolving connectivity issues between ABAP agent and HTTP SDK.

ABAP Agent Application Logs

Application logs contain most of the messages issued by ABAP Agent. Access application logs from settings or status reports.

Click Application log in the application toolbar. Alternatively, do the following to access logs:

  1. Start the transaction SLG1 (SAP application logs).
  2. Enter log object, /DVD/APPD.
  3. Click Execute (F8).

HTTP SDK Logs

HTTP SDK and C++ SDK logs may contain messages that are not available in SAP.

To access HTTP SDK logs for a specific application server, do the following:

  1. Start the transaction /DVD/APPD_STATUS.
  2. Click Logs for a specific application server.
  3. Select the desired file and double-click it to open.

Status Logs

Access additional logs directly from /DVD/APPD_STATUS. Click the exclamation mark icon to open the error log.

To see the overall node status, click on the node status icon to see the error protocol of all node components.

  2. Click Download Logs.
  3. Select the target file.
  4. Select the date range.
It is recommended to select at least 7 days.
