The ThousandEyes metrics are available under Hybrid Cloud Services in the HTTP Server entity. When you click on an entity, the list view displays the relationship among the entities and the list of ThousandEyes tests. The RELATIONSHIPS panel displays the related business applications and services. When you click on a test, the detail view displays the metrics and properties of the ThousandEyes test.

Metrics

  • Availability: Displays the availability of the test endpoint in percentage.
  • Time: Displays the response time and total time of the HTTP Server in milliseconds.
  • Loss: Displays the end-to-end packet loss. It indicates the percentage of packets that did not reach the destination.

  • Jitter: Displays the mean deviation of latency of the network. The mean deviation represents how far, on average, all measurements are from the mean of the data.
  • Latency: Displays the minimum and maximum latency in milliseconds. This is the average of the round-trip packet time.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the ThousandEyes metrics by selecting your Organization > Portfolio > Product > Services > Business application > <application>. Similarly, you can navigate back from the application to the ThousandEyes metrics.

Events

Whenever the configured alerts are triggered in ThousandEyes, the same alerts are also automatically created in AIOps in the form of events. You can view the events in the Event Explorer. If you clear an alert notification in ThousandEyes, the alert also gets cleared in AIOps.
