An Amazon Auto Scaling Group contains a collection of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances that are treated as a logical grouping for automatic scaling and management.
Navigate to EC2 > Auto-Scaling groups and select the auto-scaling group.
Click the Monitoring tab. Under the CloudWatch monitoring details section, ensure that the Auto Scaling tab is selected.
Under Auto Scaling group metrics collection, check the Enable box. This step must be completed for metrics to be reported to Cisco Cloud Observability.
Cisco Cloud Observability displays AWS entities on the Observe page. Metrics are displayed for specific entity instances in the list and detail views.
