Amazon Elastic Container Registry
Cisco Cloud Observability does not currently support monitoring Amazon Elastic Container Registry.
Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) is an AWS-managed container image registry service.
Cisco Cloud Observability supports monitoring the following Amazon ECR entities:
- Registry: Hosts your container images in a highly available and scalable architecture. You can create one or more repositories in your registry and store images in them.
- Private Repository: Contains your Docker images, Open Container Initiative (OCI) images, and OCI-compatible artifacts. Data from public repositories is not collected because there are no metrics available in AWS.
You must configure cloud connections to monitor this entity. See Set up Cisco AppDynamics Cloud Collectors to Monitor AWS.
Cisco Cloud Observability displays AWS entities on the Observe page. Metrics are displayed for specific entity instances in the list and detail views.

Detail View
To display the detail view for an Amazon ECR instance:
- Navigate to the Observe page.
- Under Containers, click AWS ECR Registries or AWS ECR Repositories.
The list view is now displayed. - From the list, click an instance Name to display the detail view.
The detail view displays the metrics, key performance indicators, and properties (attributes) related to the instance you selected.
