AppDynamics for Databases

The procedure for migrating your AppDynamics for Databases controller is basically the same as what is outlined in Upgrade AppDynamics for Databases. The main difference here is that you must backup and restore the controller database using mysqldump.exe rather than copy the entire data directory. Backing up the controller database is described in Routine Periodic Backups.
