Cluster Agent

With this release:

the AppDynamics Operator and Cluster Agent images are upgraded to Go language 1.23.
the kubeapi value for containerAppCorrelationMethod is unsupported for correlating agents with Cluster Agent. The supported value is proxy. See Manually Configure App Agents to Correlate with the Cluster Agent.
when installing Cluster Agent using Helm charts, the associated nodes are automatically marked as historical upon pod deletion. There is no longer a need to create the server monitoring user or the API-user credentials for this process. See Install the Cluster Agent with Helm Charts.

This release includes:

JRE 17 support for Windows and Linux builds.
Updates to the system property and the environment variable for enabling or disabling the Machine Agent Registration Resilience mode.
To enable or disable this mode, update the following configurations in the controller-info.xml file:
- System Property: -Dappdynamics.registration.resilience.enabled to appdynamics.machine.agent.registration.resilience.enabled
- Environment Variable: APPDYNAMICS_REGISTRATION_RESILIENCE_ENABLED to APPDYNAMICS_MACHINE_AGENT_REGISTRATION_RESILIENCE_ENABLED

Ensure to update these configurations to maintain proper functionality. See Enable or Disable the Machine Agent Registration Resilience mode.

Bug fix.

If you are installing the Machine Agent as a service on Windows, make sure to use Machine Agent 24.9.1. Machine Agent 24.9.0 does not work as a service on Windows.
