Transaction scorecard is now available for OpenTelemetry applications. A transaction scorecard summarizes the performance of a business transaction at the application and tier level.

In an HTTP action template, you can now use the OAuth 2.0 authorization to send alerts to a third-party application. This helps to secure the alerts that are sent from the Cisco AppDynamics Controller. HTTP action template supports two types of OAuth 2.0 authorization:

For an enhanced user experience, the navigation path within the Controller UI is updated. To access the updated UI, set the magnetic.ui.enabled parameter to true within the admin.jsp page of the Controller.

After enabling the setting, follow these steps for the navigation:

To view the main menu, use the left pane instead of the top menu bar.
To access applications, select Applications from the left pane to use the application selector and then you can also select Go to Application List Page to view complete list of all applications.

The Processes tab is introduced in the Agent Management UI. This displays all the Java, Python, and Node.js processes running on the machines that have Smart Agent>=24.4.

The Controller REST API now supports the token-based upload for the following files:

Use this method to upload the files by specifying the generated token and application ID along with your credentials. With this method, you do not require to specify the account name.

Business Transaction

For an enhanced business transactions management experience, this release includes the following enhancements:

You can now easily lock or unlock business transactions with a single click.
The All Other Traffic data for business transactions is now available under the Overflow tab.
On the Overflow tab, you can perform the following tasks:
- Filter the overflow business transaction data using multiple parameters.
- Register the overflow events as business transactions.
- Export the overflow events data.

Server Request Time: The time taken by the request to reach the server from the mobile device.
Server Response Time: The time taken by the response to reach the mobile device from the server.
JSON Parsing Time: The time taken by the mobile device for parsing the JSON response.

Ensure to enable Business Transaction Correlation to capture Server Request Time and Server Response Time.

This feature retains the saved fields in the IoT devices. Therefore, it avoids the resets when you switch between devices within the same application.

Unified Observability Experience

You can now:

access the node-level Cisco Cloud Observability Workloads from the Controller by selecting a node on the application flow map and proceeding to the Kubernetes tab. This tab presents all workloads connected to the node, with options to filter by cluster name and workload name.
view Cisco Cloud Observability pods on the node dashboard within the Correlations tab. This includes the pods linked to the node, with filters available for cluster name.
view the Cisco Cloud Observability Clusters on the Splunk AppDynamicsClusters page under the Servers tab. Also, you can filter between Cisco Cloud Observability and Splunk AppDynamics cluster types.

Synthetic Monitoring	A DNS resolution error can occur if you run Synthetic jobs in Chrome version 86, installed on Alpine Linux 3.13. This error occurs because of a DNS issue with Alpine Linux <3.18. Workaround: Run the Synthetic jobs in Chrome version >=117.
