iOS Agent

The Network Request Dashboard now displays following metrics:

Server Request Time: The time taken by the request to reach the server from the mobile device.
Server Response Time: The time taken by the response to reach the mobile device from the server.
JSON Parsing Time: The time taken by the mobile device for parsing the JSON response.

Ensure to enable Business Transaction Correlation to capture Server Request Time and Server Response Time.

The iOS Agent includes the PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file as per the Apple's privacy guidelines. It also includes code signature for XCFramework.

The iOS Agent now adds a new key (numberOfRetryAttempts).

Use this key during the agent initialisation to set the retry attempts for a session. Earlier, the iOS Agent was retrying only up to three times per session.

By default, iOS Agent sets the value of numberOfRetryAttempts key to three.

JavaScript Agent

JavaScript Agent can now send the trace ID and trace parent in the custom user data for the Ajax requests. The Analytics page displays Trace ID and Traceparent for the browser application.

PHP Agent

Introduces the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) mode for agent-proxy communications. TCP mode is preferred in the following scenarios:
- When you need the Java proxy and PHP Agent to operate on different host operating systems.
- In container environments (such as Docker and Kubernetes), where it is not recommended to mount the same volume for all containers.

Sends the following metadata to the Controller UI.
- Agent type and version
- Agent installation and configuration directories path
- Hostname
- Operating System
- Process ID
- PHP version

The metadata is available in Node Agent Metadata in the Tiers and Nodes > Agents tab.
