ePurge Job Deletes the “Daily Performance Alert”
You can fix this problem by following the directions below:
1. Stop the collectors via the Setup window.
2. Stop the AppDynamics for Databases GUI.
- Windows: Go to the Windows services manager and stop the "DBTuna GUI" service.
- Linux: From the <AppD4DB install directory>, run the stop.sh script.
3. Unzip the attached dbtuna.jar patch and copy it to <AppD4DB install directory>/apache-tomcat/lib.
4. Re-start the GUI:
- Windows: Go to the Windows services manager and start the "DBTuna GUI" service.
- Linux: From the <AppD4DB install directory>, run the start.sh script.
5. Re-start collectors via the Setup window.
Unable to Save Custom Date
Saving a custom time period from the activity graph requires the Chrome browser at this time. With the Internet Explorer and Firefox explorers, this operation fails with the message: "Please enter a valid date".
Manually Map a Database
AppDynamics for Databases is not able to automatically recognize all databases visible in AppDynamics Pro. If necessary, you can Manually Map a Database.
