Support Advisory: Aggressive Snapshot Collection disabled by default for 4.2.5

Summary

Upgrading to AppDynamics version 4.2.5 disables the aggressive snapshot collection feature. When the aggressive snapshot collection is disabled, hot spot call graphs are not available in transaction snapshots.

Affected Software

Java Agent version 4.2.5 and later.

Impact

Prior to 4.2.5, the aggressive snapshot collection feature was enabled by default for snapshots collected by the Java Agent. Upgrading to 4.2.5 disables this feature by default. This configuration change was made because the feature was found to contribute to memory and CPU resource overhead in rare cases.
