Support Advisory: Search Guard Removed from On-Premises Events Service
Summary
AppDynamics has removed Search Guard from the latest version of the on-premises Events Service.
The latest version of the Events Service does not offer a replacement for Search Guard. However, AppDynamics is planning to provide an alternative to Search Guard with the next major release of the on-premises Events Service.
Affected Software
The deprecation affects on-premises Events Service version 4.5.2.20561.
Resolution
If your deployment requires Search Guard or a comparable product, we recommend that you do not upgrade to the 4.5.2.20561 version of the Events Service.
If you already upgraded and need Search Guard, contact AppDynamics Support to downgrade your Events Service.
