Support Advisory: 4.5 SAML login requests fail post upgrade
Summary
After upgrading the Controller to 4.5.0.3, you may encounter issues where the SAML authentication request fails. These 4.5 Controller requests are being rejected by some ADFS IdP.
Affected Software
This affects Controller versions 4.5.0.3 and beyond that have accounts that use ADFS SAML IdP.
Workaround
Create a shared local user and use the local login option to bypass the SAML login issue.
Resolution
The 4.5.x hotfix for this issue is not released yet. Please hold off on any Controller upgrade until the hotfix is available.
The issues described will be addressed in the upcoming release as PLATUI-1227.
