Support Advisory: Splunk Integration Fails After Upgrading to Controller 24.10

Summary

The Controller fails to generate the token using the OAuth API when the token generation request does not include the application/x-www-form-urlencoded content-type header.

Affected Software

This issue impacts the Controller functionality with any existing API automation or Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics. This problem occurs after upgrading to Controller version 24.10.0 and does not impact previous versions of the Controller or any other AppDynamics components.

Resolution

Use application/x-www-form-urlencoded content-type header to generate the token using the OAuth API. See Generate the Token Through the OAuth API.
