Ingest Logs Using OpenTelemetry

There are two options for sending logs from an OpenTelemetry™ -instrumented application to Cisco Cloud Observability: 

• You can configure the Filelog Receiver in an OpenTelemetry collector to harvest logs from the path you specify. This is the only option for applications written in languages other than Java.
• You can configure the OpenTelemetry Java Agent's auto-instrumentation to export logs. This option is best for Java applications that are already using an OpenTelemetry SDK and generating logs in log4j, logback, or JUL/SLF4J format. This option does not work for non-Java applications because they can't use the OpenTelemetry Java Agent's auto-instrumentation and export.
