The Cloud Cost Management is a module built on the Cisco Observability Platform that helps you optimize the resources and costs for your cloud services and Kubernetes® workloads. The module consists of the following two features to manage your infrastructure costs and efficiency:
Cost Insights analyzes cloud and cloud-native workloads, producing granular cost data for infrastructure services. It then feeds this cost data as metrics to entities representing APM, Kubernetes, and Hosts.
Application Resource Optimizer (ARO) uses machine learning algorithms to automate the optimization of Kubernetes workloads. It dynamically adjusts resource allocations and configurations to enhance performance, increase resource utilization efficiency, decrease operational costs, and minimize the likelihood of service interruptions.

Licensing and Entitlements
This module ingests metrics to provide security information, consuming additional license units. The size of the metrics is based primarily on the number of pods in the Kubernetes cluster with security monitoring and a few other factors. See Cisco Observability Platform License and Entitlements.
