AppDynamics for Databases
2.9.x Documentation

On startup, the Oracle collector detects whether it is monitoring a RAC or a single-instance database. If the collector detects a RAC, it finds the other instances in the RAC and combines the metadata for both instances. Cluster view is the default Activity view where you can view combined cluster-wide performance metrics that are specific to RAC. From AppDynamics for Databases, you can see also the performance of each instance in isolation, including the CPU consumption of the node hardware, by configuring AppDynamics for Databases OS monitoring.
% CPU statistics are available on the Current window when the Host Collector is enabled for the database collector. You can choose to monitor the host system when you setup the database collector.
The Oracle Statistics window shows statistical information specific to RAC monitoring.
