Controller 24.7 Compatibility with Components

Cisco AppDynamics maintains and supports every software version for one calendar year after the next major Controller release is generally available. You have the flexibility to upgrade any component to a newer version released within the previous 12 months, without the need to synchronize these upgrades across different components. However, Cisco AppDynamics recommends adopting the most recent versions of all components on a regular basis to ensure optimal performance and feature access.

  • Enterprise Console is used to administer Controller and Events Service.
  • For users planning to migrate data from Elasticsearch version 2.x to 8.x using phase 1 or phase 2, ensure that you use the latest version of the Events Service.
