Rollback is available only if you have upgraded the agent by using the UI at least once. You can rollback only to the last version that was used. However, you cannot rollback to a version prior to the just rollbacked version.

For example, if you upgrade Database Agent from 24.1.0 to 24.3.0, and then to 24.4.0, you cannot rollback to 24.1.0. You can only rollback to 24.3.0.

If you require to rollback to the previously installed agent version, perform the following on the Agent Management page:

  1. Select Agents > Database Agents.
  2. Select the required agents that you require to rollback to the previous version.
  3. Click Actions > Rollback to previous version.
  4. On the confirmation dialog box, click OK if you are sure that you want to rollback to the previous version.

    When you rollback the Database Agent, JVM arguments specified in the rolled-back version are retained.
