Unified Observability Experience allows you to leverage the advanced logs troubleshooting capabilities of  Cisco Observability Platform from your existing Splunk AppDynamics SaaS tenants. The applications in your environment, which are monitored by Splunk AppDynamics SaaS generate logs that contain vital information about actions, errors, warnings, unexpected conditions, or other events. So, the logs collected by  Splunk AppDynamics SaaS from the monitored applications are pushed to   Cisco Observability Platform for enhanced log troubleshooting with in-context logs for your application. The log details allow you to troubleshoot the application issues faster. You can view the application log details on the Cisco Cloud Observability user interface.

Before You Begin

Ensure the following requirements are met before you can view the logs for your application:

Region Availability

This feature is available in the tenants in the PDX region and the FRA region.

Permissions to View the Logs Data

In Splunk AppDynamics SaaS, you have granular permissions within the application. In Cisco Cloud Observability, you get an account level access to view the logs that are in the context of the application. However, when you remove the filters in Cisco Cloud Observability related to the context, you can view all the available logs .

Troubleshoot Issues with Log Explorer
