To send an HTTP request action to PagerDuty, you must create a template in Splunk AppDynamics. When Splunk AppDynamics triggers an action in response to an event, you can view the details of the action in your PagerDuty.

Before you Begin
Integrate Splunk AppDynamics with PagerDuty. SeePagerDuty.
Copy the integration key and keep it securely for later use.Splunk AppDynamicsuses this key to send alerts to PagerDuty.
Create a Template
In the menu bar, clickAlert & Respond.
Click HTTP Request Templates.
Enter a name for the template. For example,Send alerts to PagerDuty.
In theCustom Templates Variablessection, click+ Add Variablesand add the following:
In theAuthenticationsection, selectNONEasType. If you want to enable mutual TLS authentication, selectAlso Turn on Mutual TLS. For more information about mutual TLS, seeConfigure and Enable Mutual TLS Authentication.
