To send an HTTP request action to Opsgenie, you must create a template in Splunk AppDynamics. When Splunk AppDynamics triggers an action in response to an event, you can view the details of the action in your Opsgenie.

Before you Begin
Integrate Splunk AppDynamics with Opsgenie. For more information, see the AtlassianOpsgeniedocumentation.
Copy the webhook URL generated by Opsgenie and keep it securely for later use.Splunk AppDynamicsuses this URL to send the alerts to Opsgenie.
Create a Template
In the menu bar, clickAlert & Respond.
Click HTTP Request Templates.
Enter a name for the template. For example,Send alerts to Opsgenie.
In theRequest URLsection:
SelectPOSTasMethod.
Enter the webhook URL in theRaw URLfield.
SelectUTF-8asURL Encoding.
In theAuthenticationsection, selectNONEasType. If you want to enable mutual TLS authentication, selectAlso Turn on Mutual TLS. For more information about mutual TLS, seeConfigure and Enable Mutual TLS Authentication.
