AppDynamics Operator has major release starting from version 21.12.0 and the versions >= 21.12.0 should have their respective compatible versions of Cluster Agent installed. Ensure that you are using the compatible versions of Operator and Cluster Agent as mentioned in the following table. The operator release versions <= 0.6.11 will only work with Cluster Agent <= 21.10.0.
Cluster Agent Helm Charts have major release starting from version 1.1.0 and is compatible with Cluster Agent >= 21.12.0 and AppDynamics Operator >= 21.12.0 only. The helm charts version <= 0.1.19 will only work with Cluster Agent <= 21.10.0 and Appdynamics Operator <= 0.6.11
Cluster Agent Helm Charts version >= 1.10.0 is compatible with Cluster Agent >= 23.2.0 and AppDynamics Operator >= 23.2.0 only.
AppDynamics recommends that you upgrade the Operator with the Cluster Agent upgrade. See Upgrade the Cluster Agent. Ensure that use the latest YAML configuration files for the Operator and Cluster Agent from the upgraded version because the Cluster Agent may support new or modified configuration. If you do not update the Operator or YAML configuration file, and the Cluster Agent is upgraded, then the Cluster Agent may not work properly.
